Glass art in the strawberry patch.

Everyone knows I love whimsy. These are the lastest creation of Kitras Art Glass in Ontario. I brought a few into the store just to check them out. I LOVE them and grabbed three for my garden. They are perfect.
Not quite a Dale Chihuly installation, but perfect for me.

Ooh, I like those! Will they survive the winter or will you have to bring them indoors?

Hi Jane. There are super thick and heavy. However, I think if they froze and sun got on them, they would probably crack. I plan to take them out at first frost and put them in the shed.
If you want some, they re made in Fergus Ont, so you should be able to get them locally. Kitras Art Glass.

Very artistic, Erin. I'm not normally a devotee of garden art, but I'd be willing to make a few exceptions...

I went too far with the gnomes didn't I? :)

Who said you went too far with the gnomes ;-))))))

These are cute, and whimsical which is, as you stated, more your style. For myself, I'd like a Chihuly please.

Hello Brenda!!! We have something else in common! Dale Chihuly. When I was on Maui, I saw a gallery with three massive chandeliers and about forty or so of his awesome sea forms etc. it was the highlight of my visit.

When I bought those glass flame pieces for my garden (more Orange in the garden)..that's who I thought of. Knock off Chihuly that's for sure, but glass sculpture in the garden is remarkably reflective. Use in moderation though, for a small garden. Wow, to see the chandeliers..awesome!!

Hi Brenda. Thank you for the less is more tip. I know I have a few too many things in the yard that aren't plants, so I'm going to put some on used Victoria. Many things that have just been around forever and aren't perfect anymore. You know what I mean.
