Turmeric Tea....is there anything it can’t do?

I have had some health issues lately that have been preventing me from doing any serious gardening. Now THAT is a crisis. After doing some research on sciatica, it appears that in large part the pinch can be caused by inflammation. There is nothing like turmeric for inflammation! It is truly a magical spice. So I found a Turmeric Tea recipe to try. I will be honest, I thought it sounded pretty awful and I was sure I would hate the taste. I was wrong. It is actually a nice way to get your tsp of Turmeric each day. I made a batch for four days. I also doubled the amount of Turmeric so a double batch contained four tsp. Of Turmeric. Here is a link to the recipe. There is a lot of good information in the website as well.

Now I’m going to go finish my tea.

The recipe looks easy enough. Do you drink it hot or cold? I really should try this for all the aches and pains I get after gardening. P x

Hi Pam
I had it warm yesterday and I made enough for four days. I put it in a mason jar in the fridge and just shook it up, poured a glass and had it cold today. It is actually a lot better than you would think. Good luck.
