Last year in the garden my nasturtiums were tiny and had few flowers. This winter a plant came up in the greenhouse from the compost I put in the greenhouse bed. It grew and grew and is now about three feet across with lovely pink flowers. I thought it was a bad type of nasturtium that grew super small. I stand corrected...my formerly crappy soil strikes again.
The Blueberry Walk is looking particularly good. Also, I'm envious of that hoop-house you have. It looks nice and robust.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mark. I find myself looking at it a lot. I keep remember the muddy pathway there and nothing to look at. Now, a pretty little walk. At my class last weekend someone mentioned propogating blueberries by cutting. I have a Duke that is the best I've ever tasted. Going to try cuttings.
DeleteYour beds look fantastic!! Oh my goodness. After seeing it's progress the past year, it is truly amazing Erin. I hope you are proud of it. Look at that Kale!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Brenda. I am so proud of the gardens. I am having the best time. I went to a permaculture Food Forest course this past weekend. 2.5 days. It was awesome. I'll email all about it.
