Oh dear..it's not a nice scene. sigh...but, the season is winding down and we are seeing things like this now..especially in your part of Canada. All plants have to die and it's bound to be rust, or blight or mildew... Don't be discouraged..just the normal part of plant life. Rejoice in your fantastic successes; I do!
I am already getting excited about next year. I've been looking at seed catalogues...reading...planning my winter amending...omgosh, I LOVE it. My one rose got rust, mildew and black spot. I'm going to cut it back pretty hard and do a thorough cleanup of leaves. Next year is full of promise.
