It is 12C in Sidney BC today. The windows are open and I've been outside perambulating the gardens. I pruned the Hidcote Lavenders in the Lavender walk. I then cut back my very vigorous Spanish Lavender when I noticed the snowdrops struggling underneath the huge branches that were almost horizontal from their own weight.
I just came in and noticed this!!! A sharp poke from the end of a cut lavender branch no doubt. And the garden season begins.
