Transplanted Snake Plant… healthiest and one of the loveliest plants to have in your house

Snake Plants are not only lovely, but are also an air purifier. They even clean toxins out of the air and you can really fit them into almost any house or apartment, as the footprint isn’t large. I have loved them since I was a child. My favourites by far are these yellow edged ‘swords’.

Remember Filofax?

I still love my old 1980’s Filofax. They were a full system organizer before we had everything in our devices. These photos are from 9 years ago. Well… I am really missing it. It is so old school and fun to personalize. I am going to update it in the new year and figure out exactly how to use it. I am pretty sure I will use a hybrid of iPad for everything and Filofax for appointments and events only. I will post an after… well, after.

Launching my photography journey

I have decided that I am going to flash up my Canon camera and start using it!! iPhones are just so easy I got lazy. So, I am going to take photos and play with that every day. Aiming for a photo I really like. I was going to start immediately, but realized that I had not charged the battery. Very rookie. So here is an iPhone pic of our sunrise. It was stunning. Wish me luck with the photo journey. It should up my blogging game. Hopefully some great eye candy.

‘Frost’ peach. First espalier ever

Incredible Oriental Lily ‘Captain Tricolore’

In August of 2023 I found this amazing light pink and pale yellow lily with one flower on it at Dinter Nursery in Duncan. I HAD to have it. This year is the first year the pink arrived again on the flowers. I am over the moon.

Feng Shui Wealth Bowl and energy!

My little energy grouping

My much loved wealth bowl

In 2003 to 2009, I owned a Feng Shui store. I loved it very much and shall touch on it here now and again. I finally have a place to start working on my own Feng Shui and energy again. I feel wonderful about it. If you would be interested in more about this subject, just drop a comment about what interests you.
