Beamer the Garden Cat followed me right over to the new yard today. It was so hot he took refuge behind the peony. Literally the only plant we left in the back yard. Beamer is not afraid of the new yard anymore. He is very comfy.
I moved the last of the wood chips to the blueberry walk. It looks so much better. And the blueberries will like the mounding. They do much better that way.
And last but not least. I decided to move aside some wood chips to plant these hyacinths. Just like Paul says on Back to Eden, when I pulled it back, it was black, beautiful soil. It used to be solid clay.
